I agree with Paul, nude is best. I believe it should be open casket, so those that have wondered for so long what was underneath the clothes can now see all her intimate parts. And after a viewing, those who wish to have a private goodbye should be able to do so as well.

I would prefer bra and panties. Everything else, from makeup to jewelry should be expensive and exquisite, but definitely no dress, skirt or pants.

complete dressed, beginning with the underwear;
pantyhose, lingery, corselet.
my last clothing should be a long skirt, ca. going up to the calves,
a white or other light-colored frilled blouse with an high ruffled collar and a brooch pined on the closed collar.
my hands will be folded, holding a rosary and a little bouquet of flowers should placed on my cold chest.

Hair nicely done. Light make up to give a sweet innocent look. A slight smile to her face. Her top would be a tight light blue shirt with a deep V neck. Her bra would create a very revealing clevage. She would be wearing a black mini skirt and black fish net hose. Her hands would be nicely manicured and neatly folded on her belly. That is a vision I would find quite arousing.

You would need well styled hair (long or short is fine) earrings and makeup, and a black or white gown or dress and that is all that is needed I think. Panties and bras are unnecessary, and hosery wouldn't be seen. You will be barefoot, since it is supremely more civilized and feminine to leave you without shoes on for your sleep.

Where I live, it's allowed to be buried in the nude. In fact, it is even recommended but most of the time the surviving relatives decides against it but occasionally, it happens . . .

No limits on imagination here. But my preference goes to a two phased approach. In my fantasies, where I own a funeral home exclusively for young girls, they are first dressed for the funeral in what their parents had chosen. But the evening after the funeral, my assistants and I open the crypts and redress the bodies in what the deceased wanted personally.
