For me the pole or tray depends on where the blade chops off my head. If my head is chopped off just above my shoulders and my long muscular neck is still attached to my head then my head would look very hot on a pole to be admired and arouse folks viewing my severed head. If my head is chopped off above my prominent adams apple then I'd want my head placed on a tray - my face tilted upward for the ideal to display my severed head.

I think a nice cushion or platter would be best, although a pole has its uses too.

Until recently I would have said a platter or a pillow like the topic starter mentioned... But recently I have found the pole an attractive choice too... it does have its charm
