Here's a question for everybody: How many people in this group have made or built their own electric chair to use for role playing purposes?

Where do you keep it? It's obviously not something we'd just want out in the open. I recently went and scheduled an appointment with a dominatrix who had her own electric chair. She had a fully equipped dungeon so there was plenty of space for it. It was big. After the visit, I was thinking about making my own, but I just don't have the room. I've had little make-shift ones before. You know, just a good sturdy kitchen chair draped with belts and straps. I use a tens unit to simulate electricity, but it's hard to control when playing solo.

Just curious on how people go about satisfying their urges for electric chair play.

I have it kept in my bedroom. I don't know much about carpentry but its not hard to build a mock up electric chair. See my profile for pics of my current chair. I'm in the process of building a smaller, more realistic and in depth one. I'm working out the ideas of building a collapsible one. If I have one that I can conjure up, I'll let you know and I'll post pics.

I have my own, it is actually the one in my profile picture. It breaks down for easy storage for when friends and family come over but for the most part gets set up in either my bedroom or living room for play. I have a huge variety of electrode to use with it, From Tens and PES power boxs to home made stuff.

Nice. Well, I've started piecing materials together for my own set up. I was just wondering how many of you went about it. I honestly just took a standard kitchen arm chair and copied the measurements. Like, how high the seat sat from the floor and how long the legs needed to be. Then I cut 2 x 4 boards to spec. So far so good. I'll try and post some pics when it's done. Another problem is where to store it in the meantime.

Right now, I have a small tens unit, but it is battery operated and hard to control when playing solo. I've been thinking about getting a better tens box with an ac adaptor that I can plug into an outlet. Then use a wall timer to turn it on when I'm all strapped in. Would this work? I need to look into what is out there that would work best.

Just as an addendum I am taking pix of my progress and once im finished I will post them with a few models trying it out if we are lucky. I don't have an electro set up yet but it is something I am co sidering.

Its coming along. Im building a custom skull cap and rcalf electrode, all mock if course. The straps are being built a local leather guy for cheap! Still messing around with ideas on face mask/ gag blindfold designs. Not sure what I will choose

The owner of a BDSM club that I regularly attend has promised to make me my own electric chair. Unfortunately it's been a few weeks since I have managed to make it down there but hopefully if he has kept his word I'll keep anyone who maybe interested posted.

I built mine out of an office chair. It is a dual use chair and I have posted pics of it here on this album as well as my personal album. It is fairly easy to unscrew the major pieces for either use...as regular innocent chair...or the neat toy.

It is sort of a sleek, sexy electric chair I call the Black Widow. There is a slight incline in the back for a little comfort and style (and that is the original regular office chair design). It has strap-slots that I screwed on myself under the arm rest and removable back piece.

The straps can be the "fake" harmless straps (black straps I pulled from tote bags and the like) or real (if they are thin enough. Regular belts can be cut). Which straps to be used would depend on the comfort level of those involved, I suppose.

The ankle straps are held by hose clamps which are obviously removable. The head piece is a modified bicycle helmet.

My chair looks kind of like a portable, futuristic chair that retains some of the classic electric chair look.

I'd like to hire a girl or two to strap me or some other willing victim in the Black Widow chair so I can record it for posterity.
