He writhed in agony as blood poured from his wounds;
The hooks dug in as his tormentors whipped him, steel piercing flesh,
exposing chunks of muscle, tendons, and bones.....
the flogging was violent, merciless, and brutal as the sheer pain brought him to his knees.
The demons controlled the minds of the crowd
and the Devil himself watched as the man fell to his knee's in agony.
Exhaustion and blood loss consumed him and he was to weak to carry his cross.....
but was made to march on....

His beard was cut as he faced his impending doom.
The nails were hammered through his hands as he screamed,
the sound of the hammer blows echoing in his ears;
streams of blood staining the ground.

He had known his fate and was born a sacrifice.
Once secured in place, the cross was raised where he hung his head,
Satan roared from the darkness of his soul as he proclaimed what he THOUGHT was his victory.

BUT WAS WRONG.....

This man knew that, in sacrificing his life, he was giving NEW LIFE to the sinners of this earth!! THROUGH HIS DEATH, JESUS DEFEATED SATAN and in doing so, the war has been won.

The ultimate price for our sins was paid, BECAUSE GOD LOVES US!!!

Jesus was TERRIFIED of His fate, so stressed he was sweating blood as he spent time in the garden speaking wiht His Father.

Though He knew what humiliation and excruciating pain awaited Him, HE DIED BECAUSE HE WANTED TO SET US FREE FROM DARKNESS! FROM SIN!!

He prayed for his tormentors, saying, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do," (Luke 23:34).

--There is no greater Sacrifice than that of Christ--
And GOOD NEWS COMES OF HIS DEATH: ALL WHO CHOOSE TO ACCEPT CHRIST AS THEIR SAVIOR GET INSTANT ACCESS TO HEAVEN and there, they will spend eternity in a world of magnificent beauty and peace

John 14:6:

"Jesus says, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

What amazes me the most about Christ is that, HE KNEW what torture awaited him, he KNEW how he was going to die, and he feared this beyond belief but CHOSE TO GIVE HIS LIFE FOR US!!!! I have always wondered what i would do if i was ever facing death for my belief in Christ,

and came to this conclusion:

--If Christ had the strength, love and courage to give up His very own life for us,

--THEN I COULD DO THE SAME FOR HIM if it ever came down to it....

I would rather die in worship of Jesus, as opposed to die denying my faith and the love that i feel inside my heart.

this is so True Jesus Christ is the best way to live.

He truly is, AND HE DEFINES THE WORD HUMAN SACRIFICE!!!
