I've just uploaded a few images of the late genre artist Geradesca, a Portugese guy, who (to my knowlegde) sadly vanished into oblivion quite some time ago. He did some really inspirational work on Amazonian mass battle scenes with a graceful touch of pencil and ink. I wish, I had the talent to draw like him. Too bad, we don't get to see any more of his splendid stuff.
If anyone has got some more beyond the ones I posted here, please add them.

Sorry for for the unintended confusion, Peter. "... vanished into oblivion ..." was not meant to say that Geradesca is dead; just that he is no longer present in this community as far as I know. Perhaps my choice of words was a wee bit dramatic here. ;)
