What is the ideal female belly to be traumatized, and what part does the navel play? To me, the (lower) belly should protrude from the waist down to form a smooth dome - also broad (good hips). The belly should be soft and look that way, so that any blade penetration forms a distinct skin depression before the final plunge. A large, deep navel, round or vertically elongated can enhance the appearance of belly softness. I personally prefer to see the wound below the navel, rather than in it. But the navel can't be ignored.

Heh, I personally see the navel as a target, though... I can't describe it, but something deeper draws me to that part of a belly, like a craving. It seems like such a sensitive, sensual place for different kinds of normal play or torment. I do like a nicely rounded stomach, with just the right amount of both tautness and softness to it. Navel shape doesn't matter to me as much. Innie or outie, it's an equally good target.
