I was watching some DVDs and realized that they pretty much covered everyway to kill in those movies. Not as hard as stuff as you see around here, but nonetheless it is all there. Beheadings, drownings, getting painted (?), blown up, shot, stabbed. etc etc. Even Ian Flemmings Chitty Chitty Bang Bang had a scene where the King had the Queen in his chamber and was trying to do her in.

What is your favorite Bond female death scene or near death scene?

That's easy (for me): none died as sexy as Rosamund Pike in "Die Another Day", being stabbed in her nude belly...

In the often forgotten and maligned Bond film, "Never Say Never", Sean Connery shot the villaness with a device that imbedded an exploding shell in her....there was a wait as if it malfunctioned and then boom! All that was left was her clothes drifting down from the ceiling. Total obliteration. Not shabby.

My favorite was villainess "Helga Brandt" played by Karin Dor in YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE. The piranha fish found out she was VERY tasty! ;-)

Well, I like Xenia Onatopp in "Goldeneye" - she strangles a sexual partner with her thighs, machine-gunning a room full of people gives her an orgasm and she's garotted by an exploding helicopter.

You mention beheading among the list of deaths. Has there ever been a bond film where a bond girl was beheaded? If yes, which film was it it?

I´m glad to have discovered this thread. In the last few days I posted two YouTube videos featuring Bond girls getting killed:
-Naomi, the helicopter pilot in The Spy Who Loved Me and
-Fatima Blush in Never Say Never
